Specialist in General Medicine Wanted at Bräcke Health Center

As one of four general practitioners has decided to move closer to the mountains, we are looking for a new colleague who is a specialist in general medicine.

Many exciting things are currently happening in Primary Care. We are developing digital technology in healthcare and finding new ways to meet patients' needs. You will work alongside colleagues from many professions.

The Bräcke Primary Care Area consists of the health center in Bräcke, the health center in Kälarne, and the district nurse reception in Gällö. A total of about 30 employees work here, consisting of specialists in general medicine, medical secretaries, midwives, district nurses/nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinators. The area also includes the ambulance station in Bräcke with a round-the-clock staffed vehicle with eleven employees.

At the Health Center in Bräcke, we have about 3,900 registered patients, and at the Kälarne health center, we have about 1,000 registered patients. We see ourselves as a team and help each other across boundaries to provide the best care for our patients.

With us, we meet patients of all ages - from child healthcare to elderly care.

Important local partners for the health centers and ambulance services are the municipality and other units within the primary care area in Region Jämtland Härjedalen.

The central town of Bräcke is located 70 km east of Östersund and 120 km west of Sundsvall. E14 and the railway run through the community, so communications are good.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a specialist in general medicine with us means that you assess, investigate, treat, and advise patients in primary care with various types of ailments and issues. You will work with health promotion and collaborate with other professionals at the health center. You will work based on evidence-based methods individually, in group activities, and via the internet.

We actively work to develop our treatment efforts for good living habits and to prevent long-term sick leave and promote a quick return to work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You enjoy working in a team with other professionals close to the patient and are eager to contribute to the development of the organization.

As a person, we see you as positive, humble, and preferring to work in a solution-oriented manner. Additionally, we appreciate a structured and flexible working style. You should have good initiative, an open mind, and be open to changes within the area of operation. Independent work, good interpersonal skills, collaboration ability, and professional responsibility are required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
