Imagine that as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer, you are a key player in our mission to create a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. You will collaborate with production teams and the EHS department to ensure compliance with laws, internal guidelines, and standards such as ISO45001. Your role is crucial as EHS support in our machine investment projects, where you contribute to shaping a safe workplace for everyone.
How You Will Make an Impact
- You identify and analyze workplace risks and propose preventive measures.
- You conduct EHS audits according to the annual schedule together with the production teams.
- You ensure compliance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS) and internal policies.
- You participate in safety committees and contribute to the development of the safety culture.
- You support projects related to workplace safety and change initiatives.
What You Bring
- You have a degree in occupational health, environmental engineering, or equivalent experience.
- You have experience in occupational health work within an industrial environment.
- You have the ability to analyze risks and drive improvement initiatives.
- You have good knowledge of machinery directives and relevant AFS regulations for a manufacturing unit.
- You have strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
About the Team
You will be part of a group of about 15 employees working as investment project managers or production specialists. Together, you create a dynamic work environment where you collaborate to support the entire production in Finspång. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.
Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines gathered under one roof along with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for a reduced climate footprint.
