About the Job

We are looking for an experienced business architect who wants to help develop our operations.

You will be part of a staff function where we work to improve Intraservice's internal processes and lead and manage the internal administration while developing its operations.

On a broad level, the job involves ensuring that the architecture is up to date and cohesive. The architecture should support and enable work with digitization, information security, and sustainability within the administration, as well as contribute to creating a long-term robust and adaptable operation. You will do this together with colleagues within the administration who work as controllers, architects, information security specialists, strategists, and business developers.

More concretely, your tasks will include acting as a sounding board, collaborating, and providing advice. You will guide, review, and sometimes participate in our internal business development projects to ensure they follow established architecture principles, target architecture, and decided standards as well as other governing principles within the City of Gothenburg or the administration. You will drive and be responsible for the work of developing, establishing, and anchoring current and target architectures for Intraservice in accordance with applicable principles and standards, as well as develop roadmaps. You will lead the work of or create and manage cohesive descriptions where processes, information, capabilities, and IT systems are visualized.

Together with other functions, you will analyze and propose the development of our IT and business architecture based on the needs of the operations, and you will also communicate and anchor the need for change within the organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in public administration, business development, or IT. You also have several years of experience in both strategic and operational architectural work, which gives you a good understanding of various types of models and frameworks within the field of business architecture. You have an interest in capabilities, processes, information, and systems with a greater focus on the overall architecture than on details.

It is advantageous if you are a certified business architect and have experience in similar work within the public sector. We would also like you to have experience with the architecture tool Enterprise Architect Sparx and modeling with notations such as Archimate and UML, or similar notations.

As a person, you are structured, communicative, and have a good ability to visualize and anchor ideas and solutions in a way that is adapted to the target audience and context. You have a coaching approach and are used to leading and driving change and development processes. You are quick, productive, and engaged, showing clear motivation and enthusiasm in your work.

The role requires that you can independently and together with others be responsible for, plan, and carry out activities to achieve set goals. You are attentive and have a good ability to analyze and translate business needs into different architectural perspectives and to produce appropriate governance and documentation for the assignment, such as current and target architecture and decision support.
