We are looking for an administrator for Västervik High School.

Your Responsibilities

The administrator's mission is to support the principals of the high school and Komvux with qualitative decision-making materials and to collaboratively create effective processes. As an administrator, you are part of the systematic quality and development work.

You will work with operational issues, on behalf of the principals, primarily regarding the physical work environment. Your tasks are operationally close, but also strategic in nature. You support the principals in fulfilling their work environment responsibilities by planning, implementing, and coordinating various parts of the systematic work environment efforts, which also include systematic fire protection work, based on established annual cycles, for example, assisting with risk and consequence analyses, informational materials, follow-ups, safety rounds, and work with safety committees.

Your role includes informing the principals about news and changes regarding work environment issues and supporting them in developing and, if necessary, revising routines for the systematic work environment efforts. The work environment efforts may also involve cross-administrative projects, on behalf of the principals, such as continuity work.

You will also be responsible for property and facility issues, for example during renovations/new constructions, and act as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders, such as cleaning services, property owners, and the catering unit. You may also be responsible for the budget for smaller work environment initiatives. You will act as the functional manager for the operations' caretakers. It may also be relevant in the future for the administrator to become the functional manager for the high school's administration. You will also collaborate with the administration's support functions.

You will work in various digital support systems, such as Office, Hypergene, and Stella. You will participate in regular meetings with the principals' management group.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education for the position. You should have experience in property and work environment work as well as project management/work. Since travel is included in the position, a valid driver's license (B) is also required.

We are looking for someone who is structured, attentive, clear, flexible, self-driven, and has an analytical mindset. You will have many contacts in your work, which is why good collaboration skills and relationship-building are important. You see collaboration with trade unions as an essential prerequisite in work environment efforts. It is advantageous if you have experience in a supervisory role.

You have good computer skills and experience with or a willingness to learn digital support systems. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
