We are currently seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 9 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good possibility of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

About the Role

As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will support development and improvement projects by planning and executing the lifespan work for various turbine components. You will primarily work from our office in Finspång, with the possibility of remote work on occasion.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform stress and lifespan assessments using finite element analysis (FEA) and other numerical models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data for calculations and analyses
• Support development projects by assessing, planning, and prioritizing necessary lifespan work
• Contribute to the development and improvement of methods, working practices, and routines within lifeing/lifespan calculations

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Has experience in structural/mechanical analysis and a strong understanding of principles and methodologies
• Is proficient with tools such as ABAQUS, HyperWorks, and NASGRO
• Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written
• Is independent, structured, and accustomed to driving your work forward
• Enjoys collaboration, is curious, and has a willingness to learn and adapt
