International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

We are looking for a qualified music teacher for grades F-9, with a planned start in August 2026.
International English School in Norrtälje opened in 2024 and currently has around 400 students in grades F–9.

Music instruction is conducted in Swedish, while English is frequently used in communication among staff.

- Seasonal employment starting August 2026. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months.
Your role with us
As a music teacher, you will play an important role in supporting students' learning. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will also act as a mentor and assist students in their personal and social development. You will work closely with guardians, colleagues, and the student health team to provide each student with the best possible conditions to reach their goals.
We are looking for someone who
- Is a qualified teacher with authorization in music for grades 1-9.
- Is confident in your professional leadership and creates a safe and stable environment both inside and outside the classroom.
- Values and delivers a personal, clear, and balanced leadership with both control and student engagement in focus.
- Is an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a strong desire to contribute to the success of both students and colleagues.
- Has experience working in schools and adapting instruction while collaborating with student health and special educators.
- Feels comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
