The group home is built on one level, and each apartment has an open and modern layout as well as its own patio. The operation's working methods are based on clear pedagogy and low-arousal responses, where each individual's needs are in focus.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always have their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we build on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the operation.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Experience in healthcare and social care.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period.Work degree: 1 person at 100% & on-call substitutes as needed.Working hours: Rolling schedule that includes daytime, evenings, and weekends.Start date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start shortly.Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
