The Role of Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant with us in X-ray, you will have varied tasks within our different sections. You will be responsible for the care of our patients before, during, and after our examinations. Administrative tasks may also occur. You will be part of a team with several professions where we together create a good working climate, a good working environment, and quality care.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are daytime and evening including weekends.

Your Future Workplace

At the X-ray department in Värnamo, we are about 70 employees working in state-of-the-art facilities. We are part of the county-wide 24/7 X-ray clinic with about 390 employees. X-ray services are available at the county's three hospitals: Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, Högland Hospital in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital. We conduct modern high-tech diagnostics and offer a wide and advanced range of examinations. We perform, among other things, angiographic interventions, skeletal and lung X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and PET-CT.

We at the X-ray department constantly strive to perform our work with high quality and to meet our patients in the best possible way. Our guiding principles are safe and efficient X-ray, satisfied customers, an attractive workplace, and continuous development. We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015, and we continuously monitor our operations and make changes where necessary.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with an interest in technology and continuous development. Since you meet patients daily, you have an interest in helping others. You are flexible and remain calm in stressful situations. You are good at collaborating with others, and you are a responsible person who considers the best interests of the organization, the referrer, and the patient.
