A summer job in support for people with disabilities is for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a positive difference. The work involves supporting, developing, and activating individuals who need our assistance. You can work with children or adults who have intellectual, physical, or mental disabilities.
You can work in the following areas with us:
- Group housing
- Service housing
- Personal assistance
- Short-term care
- Children and youth housing
- Housing support
- Daily activities
- Accompaniment and respite care

Job Responsibilities
As a summer substitute with us, you will have a varied and social job. In all our operations, the goal is to help each person have a rich and meaningful everyday life. You always focus on the individual's needs and help our citizens use and develop their abilities. Examples of job responsibilities that are included in all operations are:
- Assistance with personal care – such as dressing and undressing
- Assistance with personal hygiene – such as showering and toilet visits
- Service tasks – such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
- Social activities – such as walks and outings
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and a positive attitude. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues but can also work independently. We appreciate if you are responsible, attentive, and take your own initiative. Personal suitability is the most important for us!
It is a plus if you have training as a nursing assistant, have completed a child and leisure program, or have other relevant education with a pedagogical or social focus, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience in care and support is an advantage.
You need to be able to speak, read, and write in Swedish, as you will be communicating with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as writing notes.
For most positions, you need to be at least 18 years old, and in some operations, you need to have a B driver's license. For housing support and short-term care, a B driver's license with a manual transmission is always required.

Good to know
We are looking for summer substitutes for the holiday period between week 25 and 34. As a summer substitute, you can work full-time or by agreement, during the day, evening, or night, both weekdays and weekends. We would like you to be able to work at least six weeks in a row during the summer. We apply language tests in the recruitment process.

When applying, you will indicate which weeks you can work and which geographical areas you can work in. Keep in mind that you need to be able to get to and from the workplace. We try to match your preferences, but it may be guided by the needs of the operations.
To work with us, you must submit an approved extract from the police criminal record. Order this on the police's website at the same time as you submit your application. Use the form "Control of your own information". If you are considered for a position, the extract must be submitted in an unopened envelope.
