Personal Assistant Wanted

We are looking for a personal assistant with experience working with children for our client, an active 9-year-old girl living in Huskvarna with her family. A rewarding job for those who enjoy working with children.

About the Position

As a personal assistant, your workplace will be wherever the girl is, and you will spend your time both indoors and outdoors. During the day, the client is at school and does not have her assistants with her. Therefore, working hours are after school, on weekends, and during holidays. The client is a lively and cheerful girl who needs support in her communication with visual aids and signs, so we prefer that you have experience in this. The girl enjoys swimming, so you as an assistant cannot be allergic to chlorine. She also likes being outdoors, playing in the park, going to the library, and taking the bus.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children in a developmental way. We prefer that you are flexible and can easily adapt to different situations. You can read others and easily blend in while working in a family environment. You should be able to recognize when to take initiative and when to take a step back. We are looking for someone with experience in personal assistance or other social work, as well as experience in low-arousal approaches. The most important factors will be your personal qualities and the chemistry between you, the girl, and her family.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. To be considered for the position, you must be smoke-free and in good physical condition, as some tasks involve lifting.

• Part-time position
• Working hours: Weekdays after school ends at 1:45 PM, as well as evenings and weekends.
• We are also looking for substitutes who can work as needed.
• Start date in January.
• You will receive an introduction and the opportunity to shadow an assistant.
