Lycksele Hospital is a small, modern, and well-equipped acute hospital. The catchment area is Västerbotten's inland and mountain district. If you want to live close to nature, Lycksele is hard to beat! The area, which has 40,000 inhabitants, is as large as Switzerland.

The ICU is part of the Surgical Center of Southern Lapland. This also includes the operating department, central sterilization, anesthesia, surgical outpatient clinic, and surgical ward. Together, we are responsible for intensive care, including HIA, postoperative care, and anesthesia. We also staff the county's ambulance helicopter. We have a good working environment and about 40 employees in various professions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You will work as a nursing assistant with ICU patients. All our work is characterized by person-centered care where you are passionate about the personal meeting with the patient. You have the ability to create a sense of security for the patient and provide care where they are always at the center. As a nursing assistant, you are an obvious part of the teamwork, together with colleagues in various roles.

You will participate in the development work carried out at the clinic, and together we will create the future of care.

The work is scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts. We use a working time model.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has previous experience in hospital care. We want you to be engaged and have a strong team spirit, seeing opportunities and solutions as you play an important role in our team. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks. The work requires good collaboration skills and high flexibility. Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant in health and care.
