Company Description
ROL is an entrepreneur-driven and global market leader in ergonomically optimized office furniture and retail solutions. Our expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing, and technology ensures purpose-aligned, superior quality solutions for inspiring and sustainable environments where we live, work, shop, and socialize.
ROL was founded in Sweden in 1985. With a turnover surpassing SEK 2.1 billion and a diverse team of 900 professionals worldwide, we're making a difference in the industries we serve. Our main markets in Europe and the USA enable us to establish a global reach while maintaining a strong local presence.
Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Development Manager to lead early-stage sales activities in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
ROL Workplace is a Swedish-rooted, globally active company that enhances work environments through innovative, sustainable furniture solutions, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. We are on an exciting growth journey, and the DACH region is one of the most strategic markets in our three-year growth plan. In this role, you will be part of our global commercial team, working closely with colleagues across markets to drive success in this key region. You will report directly to the VP/Business Area Lead, giving you strategic visibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.
In this role, you are responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through structured market analysis, prospecting, and initial customer engagement. Your work lays the foundation for long-term customer relationships, which are then handed over to Area Sales Managers or Key Account Managers for further development.
You will collaborate closely with both sales and marketing teams to support outbound strategies and lead generation efforts. The role includes maintaining CRM data, participating in trade shows and digital events, and contributing to weekly sales meetings. Performance is measured through lead generation aligned with budget KPIs, revenue from new leads, and CRM integration in business development processes.

- Degree in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent
- Experience in B2B sales, business development or lead generation
- Fluent in German and English. Swedish is preferred
