Description

The Eye Clinic is a constantly growing unit, and we are now looking for new employees to meet our increasing patient flow.

With us, you will find a pleasant working environment with excellent camaraderie and good opportunities for development and training. The clinic works preventively but is also responsible for the care of patients with acute and chronic eye diseases. Our clinics also perform minor outpatient surgeries and treatments, often using advanced medical-technical equipment. Various professional categories work closely together with eye nurses, optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Our goal is to recruit one employee for Lidköping and one for Skövde, so please indicate in your application which location you wish to apply for.

Responsibilities

We can offer an exciting and varied job with a lot of patient contact. At our clinic, you will work within different medical teams, such as macular changes, glaucoma, or acute care. As an optometrist/eye nurse/nurse, you will work with preparatory examinations before doctor appointments and have your own clinic. In your daily tasks, you will perform measurements and examinations for investigative purposes, such as vision testing, visual field testing, biometry, and photography. You will also be involved in the development and improvement work of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed optometrist, eye nurse, or general nurse. You need to have a good ability to work independently and contribute your knowledge to the team effort around the patient. After training, you are expected to make independent decisions, have good collaboration skills, and be flexible as you will both have your own clinic and work variably in teams. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have prior experience working in an eye clinic or a similar role.
