About our job opening

Our team has extensive experience in acute care with an openness to work with patients from various specialties.

You will have the opportunity for knowledge exchange in a highly stimulating work environment with specialist healthcare within a "hotel concept". The hotel operates health-promoting initiatives where self-care is an important part in addition to medical treatment. You will perform standard nursing duties based on medical prescriptions in pre- and post-operative care, both before and during certain treatments. You will be responsible for bookings in the FRI booking system, invoicing, and card payments.

You will have a fixed schedule with weekend shifts 2 out of 5 weekends.

About us

SÄS Vårdhotell is an outpatient care unit within SÄS that receives patients from both outpatient and inpatient care. The hotel's mission is to collaborate with the hospital's departments to ensure that each patient is at the right level of care during their hospital stay. Doctors are responsible for referrals, medical prescriptions, follow-ups, and length of stay. Nurses are available around the clock. The hotel receives patients from all of SÄS's departments, where surgical specialties are among the largest referrers. Additionally, patients are referred from Sahlgrenska University Hospital for radiation treatment at SÄS. The hotel has a dining room managed by the hotel's nursing assistants.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and a few years of experience in the profession. You have a pronounced interest in caring for patients from various specialties, to help free up care places within the hospital's specialist clinics. You also have an interest in operational development and improvement work. We expect you to be service-oriented, have good collaboration skills, be communicative, flexible, and interested in helping to develop SÄS Vårdhotell. Personal suitability is highly valued.
