Description

We are looking for caregivers for PAVA - Psychiatric Acute Care Unit - a department with short care periods during acute illness.

This is a department for those who enjoy a faster pace, coordination, and interaction with various psychiatric diagnoses! We actively work for good reception and person-centered care.

The department has been located in newly built premises at the hospital in Skövde since spring 2022. The facilities are specially adapted and designed to provide conditions for modern and effective psychiatric care that creates safety and comfort for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will perform standard nursing tasks. You will work alongside other colleagues and professionals in a team for effective and good treatment. The nursing work on the unit is organized with a strong focus on patient-centered work, where individual responsibilities are also included. Collaborating and cooperating with the patient's personal network, various agencies, and care neighbors in the community is a natural part of your work.

Qualifications

Nursing education with a focus on psychiatry.

Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage. As a person, you are flexible and have a good approach towards patients and relatives, as well as colleagues. You are independent but also appreciate the strengths that good collaboration brings.
