About Us

Närhälsan Vårgårda health center is centrally located by the bus and train station in Vårgårda municipality.

The municipality has around 11,000 inhabitants and is an expanding community with good connections by train and bus to Gothenburg and other larger towns in the area. The community is situated in an old cultural region with beautiful walking areas and has a rich association life. At Närhälsan Vårgårda health center, we have 40 employees in various professions, and we are a team of general practitioners, ST and AT doctors. We have a positive work environment characterized by humor and team spirit. You will be part of an engaged team where all professions work together with the patient in focus. About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine and have the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good demeanor. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
