Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will help, support, and stimulate students in need of special support for learning, development, and independence. The work is carried out on behalf of the principal together with the responsible teacher based on the current curriculum and aims to create conditions that enable students to learn, acquire new knowledge, and develop into independent individuals.

The teaching assistant supports students throughout the school day, both in the classroom and during breaks, in after-school care, at mealtimes, and during other activities depending on the student's needs. We believe and want you to work to give the student the opportunity to become as independent as possible based on their conditions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma from the child and leisure program or other education deemed suitable by the employer. Previous experience in school activities and with children with NPF issues is an advantage. Experience with low-arousal approaches is also a merit.

It is important to us that you have a genuine interest in children's development and their desire to learn. We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate but is also attentive to the student's needs. You have empathetic abilities, are calm and patient. It is important that you can collaborate with guardians and staff and that you are solution-focused and have a positive attitude.
