About the Organization:

Hedda Wising School is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 350 students and 50 staff members. Our school is a place for challenges, curiosity, and learning, a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and develop, both students and staff. Here we work in teams in very close collaboration with student health services to enable a good holistic view of the student's studies and well-being. We are a school with a faculty of mixed ages, and now it has happened that three parental leaves will occur very close together in time.

The school works with a clear focus on international networking and has Erasmus accreditation, thus providing well-funded opportunities for collaboration and exchanges with other countries, primarily within the EU. The school has very good ICT conditions where all students use laptops in a one-to-one solution and digital teaching materials in all subjects, good access to digital support materials, and a well-functioning learning portal for planning, communication, grading, and assessment. We have been working for a couple of years with the National Agency for Education's SKUA training for language and knowledge-developing working methods. Job Responsibilities:

The position includes necessary teaching tasks. Through close collaboration with teaching colleagues, resource persons, student health teams, and school management, you contribute to creating an environment characterized by stability, security, and structure. Together, you work to promote students' learning, strengthen their self-esteem, and create motivation for continued studies.

We are now looking for three substitutes in the subjects of English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Physical Education and Health, Modern Languages (German), and Home Economics. Currently, the positions are distributed as follows, but this may change depending on the qualifications we recruit for the substitutes. The regular subject combinations of the positions are:

• Eng / Ma
• Idh / No
• Ty / Hkk

With us, you will primarily work with one grade, but you may also have individual classes/groups in other grades.

We are looking for someone who has (requirements):

• Teaching qualification / teaching license in the subjects of Eng, Ma, No, Idh, Ty, or Hkk.
• Good ability to use digital tools

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience in the profession.
• Are familiar with the goals of the curriculum and governing documents.

Scope

The positions are substitutes for approximately 1 year each. All positions are 100% full-time.

Recruitment and Start Date

Selection and interviews may occur on an ongoing basis. Therefore, you may be contacted before the application deadline depending on the subject competencies among applicants. Start dates are from January to March by agreement, and depending on subject combinations. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
