Nurse, Summer Temporary Position

Visby Hospital is Gotland's only hospital and includes units for both emergency and planned care.

We are looking for summer substitutes for all round-the-clock operations and certain outpatient clinics. Working hours are arranged according to agreement and vary between day, evening, night, weekdays, and weekends.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, you work in a team around the patient, where you, together with other professionals such as nursing assistants, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, plan and follow up on the patient's care and treatment based on the person-centered, individual care plan. You often work closely with nursing assistants and have a leading role in the nursing work.

Depending on the main focus of the operation, the tasks may vary somewhat.

Work in emergency care often involves a fast pace and prioritization of tasks depending on the situation.

Who Are You?

You are a licensed nurse; we welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses. Previous practice in any operational area is an advantage.

You adapt your working methods to the circumstances and instill confidence and security in patients and colleagues. The work requires collaboration, interaction, communication, and flexibility in prioritizing tasks based on needs. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted via the criminal record register.
