ValueOne is looking for a Production Planner for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ovanåker municipality. The assignment starts as agreed and lasts for 6 months, with good opportunities for permanent employment.

About the role

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and following up on production plans that ensure an efficient flow throughout the manufacturing process. The purpose of the role is to balance capacity, material availability, and delivery requirements, as well as to contribute to continuous improvements in the planning process.

Main responsibilities:

• Create production plans and actively work for ongoing optimization.
• Ensure that the planning is accurate and updated in the business system.
• Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, capacity deviations, and material shortages.
• Follow up and analyze the outcomes of production planning and drive improvement initiatives based on data.
• Contribute with system expertise and be a key person in the development of planning routines and processes.

Experience and competence

We are looking for a person with solid experience in production planning within the manufacturing industry and a strong ability to optimize production plans considering capacity, materials, and lead times. You have good system skills and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have a post-secondary technical education in, for example, industrial economics, as well as experience in master planning, S&OP, and the business system Monitor G5.

As a person, you are proactive, analytical, and structured with the ability to work both independently and in teams. You have good communication skills and are used to taking responsibility for driving the planning work forward.
