At MITAB, you will analyze, develop, and practically implement solutions in electrical and automation – from idea to completed, commissioned facility. Sometimes independently, sometimes in a team with other technical competencies in the company. You will become MITAB's specialist in electrical and automation and a key person in the project team. You appreciate the combination of practice (installation, commissioning, service) and theory (analysis, programming, calculations).

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyzing and troubleshooting existing facilities and finding long-term quality solutions
Planning and being responsible for the electrical and automation part of projects – from quotation to commissioning
Working with PLC programming, logic, and functional descriptions
Participating in installation and commissioning on-site at MITAB's customers in Scandinavia
Contributing to improvements and standardizations in MITAB's systems and working methods

The position is based in Forsbacka (just outside Gävle) and includes business travel – perfect for you who want both a base and variety. You will have significant influence over how the solutions are designed and how we move forward. Here, your experience and ideas truly matter.

About You

We believe you have a background as an electrical/automation technician, service engineer, or electrical engineer and that you:

Have experience in electrical and automation, preferably from industrial facilities
Have practical skills and enjoy being close to technology, not just in front of a desk
Have an interest and preferably experience in: PLC programming, industrial electrical installation and sizing, machine safety, and automation solutions as well as cost estimation or budgeting.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have a B driver's license. As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and meticulous. You like order and structure, but are also pragmatic when needed. You thrive when you can own an area and be the one who “holds together” the electrical and automation part.
