Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The customer is very active and participates in various outdoor activities, which means that shifts often include outings and social contexts.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Wants to work with a 19-year-old girl living in Jordbro with her mother, father, and siblings
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has experience with low-arousal approaches
• Has experience with NPF diagnoses (practical knowledge of autism is particularly meritorious)
• Has experience working with epilepsy

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Have knowledge of Arabic

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the employment rate is 68%. During your shifts, you will accompany the girl to daily activities. You will work according to the following schedule:

Tuesday 15-08 (on-call 00-05:30) Thursday 15-21 Friday 15-21 Sunday 20-07 (on-call 00-05:30)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana
