SiS youth home Klarälvsgården receives non-compulsory school boys with psychosocial issues as well as criminality and substance abuse. We are tasked with receiving boys with an increased need for psychiatric interventions.

At SiS youth home Klarälvsgården, we run our own school in combination with treatment for young people placed in round-the-clock care. Collaboration between the school and the departments is of central importance for how well we succeed in motivating the youth to turn a negative development into something that can provide better conditions for a good life. The school consists of a principal, teachers, and a special educator who collaboratively plan, teach, evaluate, and develop the schoolwork at the institution. There is also a student health team. Within the institution, we also provide our own health care with a nurse and psychologist.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a teacher in Swedish/Swedish as a second language and HI GY. We strive for diversity among the staff regarding gender, age, and cultural/ethnic background.

A driver's license is required as the work sometimes involves travel between or outside the institution.
