Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who loves children, regardless of gender, age is not as important but you must enjoy active and lively play and have a sixth sense for what a child might come up with next. Before an accident happens! We see that you have experience with NPF diagnoses, either through relatives or work experience. We want you to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

What does the job as a respite worker entail?

A respite worker means that you work in the home or its vicinity to relieve relatives of a person with a disability, which may be to give relatives some time alone or together, perhaps with siblings in the family. You should have a good sense of risk assessment, as many of the child clients we have are physically very active and often lack the ability to assess external dangers.

What is the scope of the position?

The positions are hourly-based and the number of hours per month can vary depending on the client's decision (from 6 hours/month). This is therefore only a part-time job alongside studies or other work. Services are often performed in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
