Kungälv Hospital is looking for medical students who want to work in patient-centered roles during the summer of 2025. About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-centered care means being involved in planning, decision-making, and implementation of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward.

Examples of tasks include, with variation based on respective operational needs:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as admission interviews and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and providing medication
• Sampling, PVK control, and inserting PVK and catheter
• Participate in rounds
• Contacting relatives
• Nursing discharge summaries

Qualifications

You are a medical student who will have completed at least term 9 by the summer of 2025. Previous experience as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage.

You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

You are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You can easily be flexible and work in an environment with a lot of varied tasks at a fast pace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

This position involves working days, evenings, and weekends throughout the summer.
