Within the municipal primary care in Mellerud, there are 30 nurses, nursing assistants, an administrator, and a unit manager. There are also good opportunities for professional development, and several of the employees have specialist training in various areas such as district nursing, oncology, dementia, and elderly care. The premises are located next to the train station, making it easy to travel by public transport.

Job responsibilities

As a psychiatric nurse with us, you will have patient responsibility for patients in regular housing and in group homes under LSS. An important part of the job is to guide, support, and develop the skills of nursing staff and colleagues. Within home care, there is a newly established psychiatric team where you will be an important part.

The position involves working daytime Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. If you have specialist training in psychiatry and/or experience working in psychiatry, it is an advantage. There may be opportunities for specialist training through an academic specialist service in the organization.

As a person, you enjoy and are used to working both independently and in a team. You have good communication skills, good collaboration skills, and of course, a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues. We also see that you have an interest in wanting to help develop our operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license with manual transmission is required.
