We are looking for an occupational therapist for a temporary position in 2025 at our clinic.

Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in habilitation, you will have the opportunity to utilize your full expertise and also broaden it. Our operations target patients with disabilities within various diagnostic groups, including autism spectrum disorders, mobility impairments, and intellectual disabilities.

You will assess patients' abilities and activity levels, plan therapeutic interventions, and implement them together with patients, guardians, and colleagues in the team. You will trial and prescribe assistive devices, provide information, guidance, and consultation to patients, relatives, and staff. Collaborating with other healthcare providers and authorities is part of your responsibilities. We provide interventions both individually and in groups. Work can be conducted either digitally or physically on-site at the habilitation facilities and, if necessary, in the patient's immediate environment.

In addition to the occupational therapist, the team includes: speech therapist, special educator, physiotherapist, psychologist, social worker, nurse, dietitian, and doctor.

You will be offered an introductory period, a mentor, and collegial support and collaboration. Within habilitation, professional meetings are regularly organized, and we provide good conditions for professional development. With us, you will have the opportunity to use new methods and treatments - we offer stimulating and varied tasks.

The operation also accepts students for supervision.

Qualifications

You are a licensed occupational therapist. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in habilitation or with the target group of habilitation, if you have experience in assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with disabilities, and if you have led groups. Experience working with the journal system AsynjaVisph is a plus.

The work involves collaboration with guardians and the patient's network, with other professionals within habilitation, and with other healthcare providers, which places high demands on collaboration skills, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Since travel is required in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
