Welcome to us
We are currently seeking a temporary social worker for work with adults at Dependency Unit 1.
Dependency Unit 1 is one of two units in Järva within the adult authority area that works with individuals with dependency issues. At the unit, we work with individuals aged 18 and older. There is a division where some staff work with young adults aged 18 to 29 years and others with adults aged 30 and older. Within the unit, there is a focus on collaborating with children and youth regarding clients who are parents. The unit shares premises with the region's dependency care, with which we also have a close collaboration. In total, there are 12 social workers and two group leaders at the unit.
As one of our social workers will be going on parental leave for 18 months, we are now looking for a substitute.

Your role
As a social worker at Dependency Unit 1, you will work with case management according to SoL and LVM as well as follow-up on internal and external interventions. You will have close collaboration with the district's open care, the region's dependency care, and other social services. Collaboration also occurs with psychiatry and correctional services. The role involves supporting people in vulnerable life situations and informing and motivating them towards interventions. Furthermore, the role means you will contribute to our development work based on the new social services act.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work.
- Experience in authority exercise.
- Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
It is considered meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with dependency issues.
- Training in ASI and MI.
- A driving license (B).
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to good social work, and we see that you have a great interest in people. You take responsibility for your work and work independently while maintaining a good dialogue with your manager and colleagues. You also demonstrate great perseverance in working with complex cases and have good flexibility as the needs of clients can change rapidly. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and structure your work effectively. We also see that you enjoy collaborating and cooperating, both internally and with external partners.
