The Primary Care Area North consists of Ersboda, Mariehem, Sävar, and Robertsfors health centers.

Sävar Health Center provides good health and medical care to the population in the municipality, located 15 km north of Umeå. The area has 6,600 residents, of which 2,650 live in the urban area of Sävar. At the health center, over 25 experienced employees work with broad expertise in health and medical care. We have a good working climate and are open to change and new ideas.

We are now looking for a PTP psychologist for Sävar Health Center!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a PTP psychologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You support and develop individuals at all stages of life. You work both independently and in teams with assessment, investigation, and treatment under supervision.

The job responsibilities follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations on practical training for psychologists. You will have a supervisor on-site and a well-functioning group of psychologists. One day a week includes service and main supervision at Mariehem HC. You will participate in Region Västerbotten's PTP program with half-day meetings either held in Umeå or digitally. All meetings are mandatory and include theme days led by an experienced psychologist, study visits, or reviews of professional legal and ethical issues. In addition to professional development, you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other PTP psychologists.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained psychologist with an interest in assessments, treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy based on manuals, and clinical behavior analysis, as well as being part of an efficient organization focused on high accessibility for patients. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a psychological assistant or in roles where you work independently in a fast-paced environment.

We wish for you to be able to perform assessments and psychological treatment in English as well. You are a secure and stable person with a professional approach. You enjoy collaborating and being there for both colleagues and patients.
