About the Clinic

The medical clinic at Mölndal Hospital receives patients for new and follow-up visits to our various specialists in cardiology, diabetes, internal medicine, and gastroenterology.

The clinic also has a research unit. Our operations are characterized by high quality, great commitment, and a desire to develop. We prioritize good accessibility and a positive approach with the patient at the center.

With us, you will find a pleasant workplace with competent colleagues and opportunities for personal development. The team around the patient consists of experienced specialist doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries, and you will be an important part of a well-functioning team and have a key role in the hospital's operations. Currently, four biomedical analysts work at the heart clinic, one of whom will go on a long parental leave. We are now looking for a fifth person to join the group!

We always keep the patient at the center while performing technically advanced examinations. You who start here should enjoy this and be used to working in an independent role, be proactive, and responsible.

About the Tasks

Your primary tasks will be ultrasound examinations of the heart, exercise tests, analysis of long-term ECG, assisting with TEE, and other tasks that occur in a clinic, both planned and emergency-related.

If you are also curious about the pacemaker operations, there are great opportunities for the right person to develop in this area and work with our patients with pacemakers.

The working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours apply. You will work based on our core values "Together with the patient - for the patient". Warm welcome with your application!

About Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology and already knowledgeable or curious about ultrasound and pacemakers. To fit into our team, we seek someone who is engaged, flexible, and focused on collaboration and quality. If you have worked for a few years with cardiology and ultrasound and have undergone training in cardiac care, it is meritorious but not a requirement. You should find it easy to create good meetings and communicate well with patients and colleagues, and be willing to share your knowledge and experiences with other staff members and participate in the unit's development work.
