Radiology Nurse for our Radiological Department in Vimmerby

This position is for you who enjoy working in a small community at our radiological department in Vimmerby, combined with duties at our radiological clinic at Västervik Hospital.

At our radiological department in Vimmerby, we conduct operations in conventional radiography. Our operations are an important part of the healthcare chain, and as a radiology nurse with us, you will work with scheduling and conventional radiography of skeletons and lungs. We receive children and adults for scheduled examinations, as well as urgent referrals.

The radiological clinic in Västervik is located at a medium-sized hospital with all the advantages of being a small hospital with short decision-making paths while offering advanced care. We have a high-tech equipment park where we perform the most common radiological examinations such as computed tomography, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional radiography. Additionally, our clinic has nuclear medicine and osteoporosis services, as well as a dedicated section for mammography. We value a good working environment, collaboration, and community, and we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the development of our operations.

Work at Vimmerby Health Center comprises about 60% and is complemented by duties in Västervik up to 100%. Working hours are daytime Monday to Wednesday, along with combined on-call duty at the Radiological Clinic in Västervik.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed radiology nurse. You are a flexible person with good teamwork skills and the ability to quickly adapt and step in where needed. You find it exciting, fun, and challenging to also combine on-call duties in Västervik. As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time building new relationships, which is also a central part of your role as you will have many contacts and collaborations with various health centers and clinics/departments at the hospital. For us, it is important to maintain a high level of service, and we often need to be problem solvers to achieve good results for all parties. It means a lot to us that you have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues and that together with us you create high patient safety and good accessibility, with the patient in focus. Your willingness to work all-round is a prerequisite for thriving with us, and you are secure and stable in your profession, which is required to make decisions at a varying pace.
