.NET Developer for the Traffic Insurance Association
Are you a problem-solving, curious, and humble developer who thrives in the intersection of development, operations, and complex system management? Do you want to work in a critical system with high demands for quality and performance? Then this could be the right challenge for you.
ABOUT THE POSITION
At Academic Work, we are currently looking for a .NET developer for our client, the Traffic Insurance Association (TFF). TFF is a collaborative body for Sweden's traffic insurance companies and plays a central role in the Swedish traffic insurance system. Here, you will work with complex and business-critical systems where technology and regulations must go hand in hand.
You will be part of a team responsible for developing, managing, and handling TFF's common system solutions. This can involve everything from external file integrations and document management to logging services and statistical support via data warehouse solutions. The team works agile and consists of developers, requirement analysts, and testers.
The role has less focus on traditional product development and more on operational technical work, problem-solving, and continuous improvement – while utilizing your programming skills in C# when needed. It is important that you enjoy the breadth: configuration, simpler infrastructure issues, development, troubleshooting, and system understanding.
TFF's office is located in Östermalm/Gärdet, close to both bus and subway, surrounded by training opportunities and green areas.
You are offered
- A consulting assignment via Academic Work for 6 months, with good opportunities for extension or direct recruitment to TFF.
- Work in a stable and socially important company with complex technology, where you will learn a lot.
- A daily life where you work closely with both business and technology and make a real difference in business-critical systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
The role involves developing and managing TFF's core systems, handling integrations and document management, and solving complex problems for stakeholders. The work focuses on ensuring the operation and functionality of the systems, with a breadth of tasks from programming to infrastructure changes.
- Solving technical problems for the business – everything from programming in C# to configuration, troubleshooting, infrastructure changes together with operations, and upgrades of purchased software.
- Working operationally with logging services, file transfers, document management systems, and integration flows.
- Leading your own development and improvement initiatives and collaborating with other developers inside and outside the team.
- Providing technical support to testers and requirement analysts.
- Working in an agile environment according to SCRUM with two-week sprints.
- Contributing to improving the team's processes and keeping an eye on the overall picture of TFF's system landscape.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and thrives in a changing everyday life.
- Has good knowledge of C# and .NET, preferably within more complex system environments.
- Has a bachelor's degree in system development or another relevant education.
- Has good knowledge of SQL and Entity Framework.
- Has experience with Azure DevOps/TFS and Git, preferably in managing build and deployment environments.
- Has previously worked with developing or implementing solutions in .NET environments.
- Understands how to manage systems in production and has the ability to see the big picture and how systems are interconnected.
- Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is a merit if you have:
- Experience with M-Files (document management).
- Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, SSIS, and Power BI.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, container technology, or similar environments.
- Experience with configuration platforms such as Elastic or equivalent.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
- Change-oriented
- Helpful
- Goal-oriented
- Social
- Responsible
- Intellectually curious
