Production Engineer at Alfing in Älmhult – Drive Production Forward!

You will be a key person who influences processes, solves challenges, and drives improvement work while working closely with colleagues in production, design, and planning.


Your Responsibilities

  • Create designs and production documentation that meet customer needs
  • Develop products and fixtures in SolidWorks
  • Troubleshoot and analyze production issues to find long-term solutions
  • Identify and implement improvements in production
  • Work in the business system Monitor G5 and PDM system
  • Collaborate closely with production to ensure that the flow between each step works optimally


We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in the manufacturing industry and good machine understanding
  • Is comfortable with CAD/3D, preferably SolidWorks
  • Can analyze, troubleshoot, and drive improvement projects
  • Has experience in fixture manufacturing and contract manufacturing
  • Has knowledge of robotic welding and press braking (meritorious)
  • Has experience with business systems, preferably Monitor G5, and PDM programs

We aim to offer design, manufacturing, and surface treatment of products primarily in sheet metal and tubes with high technical competence in close collaboration with our customers. We provide a comprehensive concept including assembly, warehousing, and distribution.
