Job Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be a central part of the development of Kalmar's future machines. The role involves leading and driving technical projects within R&D, focusing on meeting customer requirements, safety standards, and legal regulations. You will work closely with colleagues across R&D and be responsible for technical deliveries within timelines and budgets.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Lead and coordinate design and development activities within assigned projects
  • Analyze technical needs and resources to plan and assess feasibility
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on technical specifications and processes
  • Initiate and follow up tests for verification and validation of design
  • Ensure technical coordination between different product areas within the CB division

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in product development, preferably within vehicles, machinery, or similar industries
  • Experience in technical project work or project management
  • Experience with embedded systems, hydraulics, mechanics, or software is an advantage
  • Previous experience in R&D and development of machines, vehicles, or similar products is a plus

With a structured and meticulous work style and good planning skills, you take responsibility for driving the work forward. You are flexible and have a positive attitude, good collaboration skills, and enjoy working in a team where technical discussions and joint problem-solving are in focus.

Start: As agreed (preferably immediately) Location: Ljungby, with the possibility of hybrid work (about 3 days on-site, 2 days remote) Salary: As agreed
