As a production engineer, you will work as a consultant on various assignments for companies in the manufacturing industry. You will collaborate closely with production management, quality and production engineers, and operators with the goal of developing efficient, sustainable, and competitive production solutions.

Depending on your skills and the client's needs, your assignments may include:

• Digitalization and data collection
• Production technology and production development
• Change management and improvement work
• Sustainability analyses

The length and content of assignments vary. Work is primarily conducted on-site at the client's location and may occasionally involve travel and assignments in other locations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education and relevant experience, or equivalent competence
• Experience in project management and development of production processes and flows
• Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma

Desirable competencies include:

• Method studies, such as SAM, AVIXS, PROKON, or similar
• CAD design in 2D/3D
• Business systems like Monitor, SAP, or Movex
• Experience in assembly work, welding, and/or painting
• Automation technology (PLC), vision or scanning solutions
• New technologies such as AI, VR, or similar
• Machine monitoring systems/MES, e.g., Balthzar
• Investment projects and development of requirements specifications

As a person, you are analytical, curious, and solution-oriented. You take initiative, work systematically, and find it easy to plan and prioritize your work.

The role involves leading technology development and creating trusting relationships – therefore, your ability to inspire, engage, and convey knowledge is crucial for success. You have an interest in leading others and thrive in a consulting role with many points of contact.

The assignments require proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, and preferably English.
