We at Maxkompetens in Växjö are looking for direct recruitment of a Mechanical Designer for Phoenix Mecano in Växjö.

Your Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Designer at Phoenix Mecano, you will be part of an engaged and unpretentious team. The position offers variety and significant influence - here you work closely with both product development and production, playing a central role in improving and developing our products.

Your tasks include:

• Development of mechanical design and construction solutions.
• Preparation of manufacturing and assembly documentation, drawings, and documentation.
• Conducting strength analyses and mechanical calculations.
• Optimization of manufacturing processes in collaboration with the production team.
• Technical support to customers and production staff.
• Creative contributions to new product ideas and improvements in both manufacturing and development processes.

You will also work on various projects ranging from new development to maintenance and redesign. In this role, you report directly to the design manager in Växjö and will also have continuous contact with various departments within the organization.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in mechanical design and likely a technical education background. Experience in electrical or automation design is advantageous but not required.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• Experience with CAD tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Knowledge of strength calculations and technical documentation.
• The ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is also an advantage if you have experience working in an organization certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and have knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
