About the role

We are looking for someone to join our design department who enjoys working in a team consisting of salespeople, sales technicians, and production, where you collectively tackle customer requirements and expectations. In this role, you will have contacts with people both internally and externally, and you are passionate about solving more or less complex issues. You will be responsible for developing profile solutions based on given conditions and, in collaboration with the customer, managing design solutions that are manufactured in our production processes. You are also expected to understand and analyze the customer's problems and find sustainable solutions to handle these in our own production. The designer performs calculations and simulations of design proposals and assists the sales organization in the quotation process. The role reports to the Sales Engineering Manager. You can expect a manager who works with freedom under responsibility and a coaching approach.

• Technical college competence or practical technical experience.

• Knowledge of profile manufacturing and processing of aluminum profiles.

• Good language skills in Swedish and English.

• Experience in drawing and designing in CAD systems, we work in Solid Works.

• Experience in strength of materials and mechanics is a plus.
