We are looking for a Maintenance Manager – Let’s develop the future of maintenance together!

As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead and develop our technical organization and play a key role in securing future-proof processes through world-class maintenance, property management, energy optimization, and safety that protects our assets and operations.

About us and our maintenance organization

IKEA Industry Älmhult AB consists of more than 200 dedicated, down-to-earth employees who annually produce around 6 million lacquered fronts for furniture, primarily kitchens. We have a modern, automated production in Älmhult – the heart of IKEA.

The maintenance organization is a central part of our success. We work with digital solutions, predictive and preventive maintenance to ensure high technical availability and operational reliability. Our goal is to create an efficient, sustainable, and future-proof production where we continuously develop working methods and technology. You will be part of a team that combines practical skills with strategic thinking, where collaboration is key.

What you will do

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies focusing on TPM, digitalization, predictive and preventive maintenance, and automation.

- Ensure an efficient organization with optimized spare parts and preventive programs.

- Be responsible for property maintenance and drive initiatives for energy efficiency and energy management.

- Identify, assess, and manage safety risks related to perimeter protection, processes, and technical systems to protect people, equipment, and operations.

- Participate in strategic work to future-proof technical processes and contribute to increased productivity and profitability.

Who you are

- Have a technical post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

- Have at least 5 years of experience in a senior technical role within the industry.

- Have documented leadership experience and the ability to drive change.

- Are familiar with TPM, maintenance systems, digital solutions, and Lean/IPS.

- Communicate well in Swedish and English.

- Are motivated by IKEA’s values and thrive in a dynamic environment where you work both operationally and strategically.
