ANDRITZ is investing in the future and growth, and therefore the focus of this position is clearly on new application areas and growth segments, such as drying and refining the green hydrocarbon lignin and next-generation textile fibers. You will contribute as a Product and Application Engineer with your technical expertise from early idea to functioning solution.

You will be part of our global Technology & Product Management network, where you collaborate with experienced specialists, product owners, and development teams worldwide. ANDRITZ is purposefully investing in several new growth areas where drying is a central process – here you will have the opportunity to influence technology choices, process solutions, and future product portfolio. We offer an international and technology-heavy environment with great freedom under responsibility. You will build networks globally, drive development initiatives, and represent ANDRITZ in external collaborations with customers and partners. The role combines strategic product work, practical application, and technical problem-solving.

You are an experienced and curious development engineer driven by creating new solutions and seeing technology come to real use. You thrive in the intersection of product development, process technology, and application, and have a natural interest in identifying new opportunities and turning them into robust technical concepts.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and systematic, but also communicative and networking. You are confident in your skills, used to collaborating cross-functionally, and comfortable representing both the product area and the company in external contexts. You appreciate an international role where travel, customer meetings, and technical discussions are a natural part of everyday life.

• Drive and contribute to the development and adaptation of drying processes for new applications, as well as further development of existing process solutions.
• Work closely with other product groups and divisions within ANDRITZ in joint development initiatives and create strong technical networks.
• Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business and technical opportunities within our growth areas.

• Actively participate in global development initiatives and contribute with application and process technology expertise.
• Represent ANDRITZ and the product area in dialogue with customers, partners, universities, and other external actors.

• A university or college degree in a relevant technical field.
• Good knowledge of process technology; experience with drying processes is highly desirable.
• Experience from, for example, the paper and pulp industry, non-woven, biomass, textiles, or other equivalent process industries is highly meritorious.
• The ability to work independently as well as in teams, with a structured and analytical approach.
• Interest and ability to build networks, both internally and externally.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work.
• Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written.

Work location is Växjö; alternatives can be discussed.
