Electrical Preparator at Eltel in Växjö

Eltel has won new contracts and is growing in the electrical sector – therefore, we are now strengthening district east with more colleagues! We are now looking for an Electrical Preparator for our team that drives projects – from planning to execution.

What are my responsibilities? 🔌

As an Electrical Preparator, you are a key player in our projects within the voltage range of 0.4–36 kV. You drive electrical preparations for new and renovation projects, maintenance, and service. The role is broad and involves technical responsibility, coordination with clients and authorities, as well as practical planning. Specifically, the work includes:

• Design and detailed planning in consultation with the customer
• Establishing work instructions, checklists, and work orders
• Material orders and booking of resources
• Management of traffic organization plans and permits
• Contacts with landowners, authorities, and subcontractors
• Establishing outage planning and coordinating joint construction projects
• Participating in kick-off meetings and ensuring quality throughout the project

A large part of the work involves keeping all reporting and documentation up to date and ensuring that changes and additional work are handled correctly. You will be part of a new department and play an important role in Eltel's investment in developing our offering within electricity distribution. Travel is required for this position, and the location is in Växjö.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Technical high school education in electricity or equivalent
• Alternatively, a relevant designer education in electrical power or equivalent work experience
• Good computer skills and experience with administrative systems
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Driving license B

It is strongly meritorious if you have experience in local network design. Furthermore, it is also meritorious if you have experience in contract work, project activities, and/or investment activities. Education/certification in EBR, BAS-P/BAS-U is also meritorious. Previous experience as a distribution electrician is also a plus.

• The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.
• Start date is according to agreement.
