The Health and Medical Care sector consists of community rehabilitation, the nursing unit, and the Safe Homecoming and planning team. The nursing unit consists of all nurses and a few nursing assistants who work according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) within the Health and Care Administration in Enköping Municipality. As a nurse, you are employed in Health and Medical Care but are placed in Special Housing, home care in ordinary housing, LSS, social psychiatry, and/or emergency services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in emergency services, you will have a dynamic and independent role where each shift can look different. You will respond to urgent home visits, special housing, LSS, and social psychiatry, make medical assessments, and make quick decisions that create security in situations where care needs arise here and now. The job also involves planned visits in ordinary housing, special housing, and within LSS and social psychiatry.

The work requires clinical skill, good judgment, and the ability to prioritize. You have support from colleagues and sometimes doctors remotely, but you are often the first on the scene and lead the care effort.

This role suits you if you enjoy variation, urgent situations, and making a difference in the moment. You meet people in all types of life situations and get to use both your medical expertise and your ability to create calm and structure in acute situations.

Take the chance to work in a fantastic team either on a fixed schedule or as a temporary employee. This job can easily be combined with studies, parental leave, or similar as the working hours can be adjusted. Shifts are scheduled for evenings, nights, and around the clock on weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Swedish nursing license
• Driver's license B
• Nursing experience

You easily adapt to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly alter your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires.

You have empathetic ability and can understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their feelings.

You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts constructively.
