Our Operations

Since 2019, Akademiska sjukhuset has been operating parts of the hospital pharmacy function under the name Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy. In our operations, about 100 employees work with various pharmaceutical assignments within departmental pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparation, and pharmaceutical supply.

Within the department of pharmaceutical supply, about 15 employees are responsible for the pharmaceutical supply to Akademiska sjukhuset and Lasarettet in Enköping. Our mission is to work with pharmaceutical procurement, the supply agreement for pharmaceuticals, assortment work, and investigations when pharmaceuticals are out of stock. The pharmaceutical supply also works with the pharmaceutical service to departments and is responsible for the central warehouse of infusion fluids and flushing fluids to the hospitals as well as fluid cart service.

Within the SELK project (safe and efficient pharmaceutical chain), new supply solutions for healthcare units are being developed, where the implementation of pharmaceutical dispensers in healthcare units has been the first step, and the introduction of inpatient dosing and expanded central warehouse of pharmaceuticals are upcoming steps. The pharmaceutical supply is responsible for the operation of these new supply solutions.

Your Mission

You will work with pharmaceutical procurement and follow-up of agreements made through contact with suppliers. The work involves independently processing and analyzing pharmaceutical statistics and information about pharmaceuticals in use within inpatient care. In addition to collaborating with colleagues within pharmaceutical supply, you will collaborate with colleagues in other regions who have the same mission as well as with colleagues within the region's purchasing and procurement unit. The position also includes working with the operational assignments of pharmaceutical supply.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacist. Experience in pharmaceutical procurement, assortment work for healthcare, or work as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy/ward is advantageous. Good knowledge of Excel is a requirement. You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Your Competence

You work well with others and are attentive. You take responsibility for your task and drive your processes forward in a structured way. You master complex issues and have the ability to analyze and solve complicated problems. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
