Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position 

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Physically strong
• Experience with epilepsy/autism
• Can swim
• Tolerates pets as both dogs and cats are present in the home
• Is accustomed to following cooking recipes
• Can speak Spanish

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 100%. The job involves work during daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. The schedule is as follows: 

Odd weeks

Monday 9 AM - 3 PM Tuesday 9 AM - 9 PM Wednesday 9 AM - 3 PM Friday 9 AM - 9 PM

Even weeks

Monday 9 AM - 3 PM Tuesday 9 AM - 9 PM Wednesday 9 AM - 3 PM Thursday 3 PM - 9 PM Saturday 8 AM - 3 PM Sunday 8 AM - 3 PM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
