Web Editor at the Defense Staff's Communication Department

About the Workplace
The Communication and Engagement section is responsible for the department's deliveries in marketing and relationship communication for attractive and recruiting purposes. This includes campaigns, events, CRM, and candidate support. In addition, the section is also responsible for planning, production, development, and follow-up of the Armed Forces' central external and internal channels. This also includes the joint editorial planning of the Armed Forces as an important part.
About the Role
As a web editor, you are responsible for driving the development of our website and ensuring that it is current, engaging, and optimized for our target audiences. The role includes planning, producing, editing, and publishing content on the website. You write and optimize web texts, build campaign pages, and develop new pages according to the needs of the business. You actively work with SEO to strengthen visibility and reach.
You maintain ongoing contact with internal information owners to ensure that the content is correct, relevant, and follows the organization's guidelines. You are also responsible for ensuring that the website meets current accessibility requirements.
You work closely with colleagues in the section but will also participate in project groups within the department and contribute web expertise to various communication projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- A relevant post-secondary education for the position
- Several years of current and relevant experience in similar tasks within a larger complex organization
- Current and relevant experience working with SEO
- Current and relevant experience in monitoring web statistics and user behavior
- Good knowledge of the accessibility directive (WCAG)
- Good knowledge of Optimizely
- Good knowledge of SharePoint
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish both orally and in writing

You have an easy time creating and developing good relationships. You are analytical and quickly grasp complex issues and transform them into clear, accessible, and well-formulated texts. Meritorious
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience working in a DAM - Digital Asset Management System
- Current experience working as a copywriter
- Knowledge in UX design
- Relevant experience from the Armed Forces

The position is civilian and is located at the Headquarters in Stockholm. As an employee of the Armed Forces, participation in exercises, standby duty, and involvement in national and international missions may be required.
Place of employment: Stockholm
Start date: By agreement
Employment form: Permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probationary period for applicants who are not currently employed by the Armed Forces.
Tests may be conducted during the recruitment process.
