You Will

• work with various issues within air traffic services (ATM/ANS) for civil and military aviation,
• work with supervision and permit assessment,
• participate in the development and change of regulations, both nationally and internationally,
• have contact with providers of air traffic services, primarily within Sweden,
• have contacts with other countries' aviation authorities and international organizations, and
• contribute to tasks within the agency based on the needs of the entire operation.

The work includes travel both within Sweden and to other parts of the world, mainly within Europe.

You Must Have

• many years of qualified professional experience from work in the areas of air traffic services or air traffic management,
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English,
• a driving license with B category.

It Is Meritorious If You Also Have

• operational experience or experience working with technical systems within air traffic management or air traffic services,
• good knowledge of military aviation,
• experience with administrative tasks, such as investigations or establishment of working methods,
• experience working with quality or safety management.

The employment is permanent with placement at one of the following offices; Norrköping, Stockholm/Kista, Gothenburg.

Appointment according to agreement.

We normally apply a probationary period.

As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. The needs of the operation and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About the Transport Agency

Number of employees: Approximately 2000.

Areas of operation: The Transport Agency works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, shipping, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership changes.

Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The largest part of the operation is in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro.

The head office is located in Norrköping.

About the Maritime and Aviation Department

The Maritime and Aviation Department contributes to a competitive, environmentally friendly, and safe transport system. We do this by maintaining registers, designing regulations, assessing and granting permits, and exercising supervision. We also operate in many contexts on the international arena.

We are located in Norrköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm and have about 300 employees organized into six units and a staff unit.
