Rehabilitation Assistant - Summer Temporary Position

Are you training to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist and have a strong interest in geriatrics? Then this position might be for you!

We are looking for rehabilitation assistants, summer temporary staff, for our team at Paramedicine Capio Geriatrik Handen. We have a total of 54 care places, divided into two departments. Department 1 is an acute geriatric care department and department 3 focuses on rehabilitation, stroke, and orthopedics. We have relatively short lengths of stay. Admissions occur from acute hospitals but also directly from ambulances, health centers, and homes. The work is varied, team-based, and sometimes involves a high pace. Our paramedical group consists of occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, and speech therapists.

Job Responsibilities

On assignment and after assessment by a licensed occupational therapist/physiotherapist, perform occupational therapy/physiotherapy treatments and work tasks. The work is conducted close to patients in interdisciplinary teams and involves significant contact with relatives. Documentation is done in TakeCare.

• By summer has completed at least semester 4 of the occupational therapy/physiotherapy program
• Has a professional approach with a focus on the patient
• Is flexible and solution-oriented
• Enjoys working in a team

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Temporary position for about 3 months
• Extent: 100%
• Start date: by agreement
• Salary: individual salary setting
• Collective agreement exists
