Workplace

The workplace is the Assistance Unit located at Rådhusgatan 8 in central Enköping. We are a unit with 32 colleagues including two team leaders and a unit manager. From December 1, 2025, the relative consultant and two personal representatives will belong to the unit.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a case officer, you are a key person in our operations. You work closely with people and help shape interventions that make a difference for our residents. Your work is both independent and team-based, and you get to use your skills to create solutions that are sustainable and legally secure.

Your tasks include:

• Receiving applications according to SoL and investigating individual assistance needs.
• Making decisions on interventions or rejections based on the results of the investigation.
• Collaborating with clients, relatives, and professional actors.
• Following up and evaluating interventions to ensure quality.
• Working both independently and together with colleagues in a team.

We are a unit in transition, which means that you need to be adaptable to new circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly adjust your approach based on what the situation requires.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Driving license B.
• Previous experience in case management.
• Experience in public authority operations is seen as an advantage but is not a requirement.
