Our Offer

Primärvårdscentrum Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, four emergency centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, child health care unit, 1177, and general medical training center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health center in Finspång belongs to Primärvårdscentrum within Region Östergötland. In 2020, we moved into new, beautiful premises at Vårdcentrum Finspång. Here, among other things, there is a health center including an emergency center, pharmacy, rehabilitation, primary care department, LAH, and the municipality's short-term accommodation. Collaboration and close care are goals we want to achieve for our citizens' needs.

From the turn of the year 2024-2025, Vårdcentralen Finspång and Vårdcentralen Skärblacka will be a joint operational area. The change aims to provide a robust operation that is prepared to meet the demographic challenges we face in the future.

The operations currently have nearly 27,000 registered patients and a workforce of about 110 employees. The new operational area includes the health center Finspång and the health center Skärblacka as well as the Emergency Center Finspång. Included in Vårdcentralen Finspång is also a branch in Rejmyre.

Job Description

As a district nurse at the health center Finspång, you primarily work in outpatient care and have a central role in being the patient's first contact with the healthcare system, as well as making physical assessments in both acute situations and planned care.

We are looking for you who are a trained district nurse and have experience in primary care. The position involves the usual tasks for a district nurse, administrative assignments, telephone follow-ups, and based on previous competence and experience, you may have the opportunity to work in elderly care, with diabetes, asthma/COPD, and hypertension patients.

The work is largely independent, which means being able to make your own assessments and decisions. In our unit, we work closely with other professionals, we develop each other and supervise students. Operational development is prioritized at the clinic, and as a district nurse, you are a natural part of developing routines, working methods, and colleagues.

About You

We want you who are applying to be a further educated district nurse. It is desirable that you have worked for a few years in open health and medical care, preferably in primary care, but this is not a requirement. Previous experience with Cosmic is considered an advantage for the position.

Application and Employment

The weekly working time is 40 hours, and the position is permanent at 100% full-time with the possibility of partial reduction in hours. Your main placement will be at Vårdcentralen Finspång, but work at Vårdcentralen Skärblacka may occur.
