The Swedish Armed Forces’ Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking a Maintenance Leader for the Management and Supply Reporting Department. About the Unit
TVK Log is a central player in the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics management. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and materials are available and meet the needs of combat units – in peace, crisis, and war. This also means that we create the conditions required for the Armed Forces' sustainability in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition.
The unit consists of approximately 110 employees with broad expertise in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log mainly consists of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable accessible combat units through the right materials at the right time.
Main Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Leader for the service support area, you have a central role in ensuring that the service support requested by the Armed Forces is assigned with corresponding agreements at all levels of conflict. You are responsible for developing maintenance plans, developing work methods, and following up on the contractual area. You lead/participate in maintenance groups and maintenance meetings within your area.
In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and report within your assigned area of responsibility. You will ensure that needs are identified and met according to operational requirements and also participate in procurements and orders of services.
You collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and actively work to identify and drive improvements within your assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
Qualifications
- University or college degree (in e.g., logistics, engineering, or economics) or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Good experience with complex IT support systems in the logistics area
- Driver's license (B).
Personal Qualities
As a person, you have very good collaborative skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative and pedagogical and are good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. You will have a great deal of personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Documented experience in requirements specification regarding IT support systems
- Documented experience in a project management role
- Documented experience of work in the public sector.
Other
The employment constitutes a civilian position that is a permanent full-time position. A six-month probationary period will be applied for those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces.
Work location: Boden
Travel in the service may occur.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
