Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. Bernadotte - a modern nursing home

Bernadotte is a modern nursing home in Valsätra with large areas for socializing, a private garden, and proximity to nature. Valsätra is located 6 kilometers south of Uppsala city center and is a popular residential area with good bus connections to the city.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you are an important part of care and support in special housing in Uppsala Municipality. The position is a permanent employment with placement at Bernadotte. It may become relevant to work full-time at one of our other special housing facilities. We see this as an opportunity for you to broaden your experience and develop within our organization. Together, we create safe care for our residents!

The work as a nurse is varied and includes everything from medication management, wound dressing, and catheter changes to prescribing medical technical products or issuing certificates and working with Senior Alert and deviations. You will do rounds once or twice a week and also participate in regular team meetings and quality councils. With us, one day is rarely like another. You will learn new things and broaden your skills. With us, you have the chance to influence, improve, and shape the operations!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is also an advantage if you have a driver's license. As a person, you see opportunities in changes and adapt to changing circumstances. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your approach independently. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate with others and adjust your communication based on who you are talking to.
